Mental Health Wellbeing Groups

Wellbeing Groups provide an opportunity to talk to others affected by mental ill health such as depression, anxiety, stress or isolation.

The groups integrate discussion and peer support with the addition of various activities, arts, crafts and exercises to promote relaxation, increased awareness and coping strategies. The activities can act as a distraction which can be rewarding a well as promoting a feeling of calm.

These supportive groups take place in Sheerwater, Egham and Stanwell.  Everyone is given the chance to talk if they wish. Groups can range from 4 to 12 people. The groups are not suitable for people who are in crisis or who have complex mental health needs. Services such as Safe Haven may be more appropriate for you if you are in crisis.
